COVID 19 PLAN
Our commitment and duty is mirrored in a pro-active and adapted prevention plan to the COVID-19. We have reinforced our policy and daily procedures, as we want our team members, guests and visitors to experience in our property a clean and secure environment. We have adopted new practices regarding sterilization and disinfection.
I. STAFF
✓ All our staff members use IPE’s - individual protection equipment.
✓ We have reinforced our cleaning routines for a higher level of disinfection and sanitation.
✓ We have assigned specific tasks to our staff to ensure that all guidelines and procedures are being correctly and safely fulfilled permanently.
II. PUBLIC AREAS
✓ A sanitizer dispenser is available in all public areas and floors.
✓ All public areas undergo a sanitization process through cleansing, fogging and wiping, using the appropriate disinfectant in higher frequency: Public areas and facilities multiple times daily such as handrails, buttons, table-tops, door knobs and other appliances are sterilized constantly.
✓ More frequent usage of heavy-duty neutral PH floor cleaning agent to disinfect all floor areas.
III. ROOMS
✓ We assure that we will not enter in guest rooms. The possibility to allow us to is only by guest’s request. Daily room cleaning, maintenance or room service should be expressly requested.
✓ All the lining are washed at high temperature with the appropriate disinfectant soaps.
✓ All the bathrooms are cleaned and disinfected with heavy-duty alkaline bathroom cleaner and disinfectant. Injection of diluted cleaning solution into drains to avoid clogged pipes and prevent bacterial growth.
IV. FOOD HYGIENE
✓ Breakfast are now organized previously by sitting so each guest receives a form to choose breakfast time
✓ Meal room areas are cleaned and sanitized upon rotation of guests and visitors
✓ Guests are encouraged to wash their hands before entry and use the sanitizer dispensers available at both entrance / exit.
✓ All food and beverage will be served by our team wearing face covers and disposable gloves. When directing yourself to serving area, it is mandatory to wear your mask and face-shield and mandatory to sanitize your hands before touching any utensils.
V. EXTRAS
✓ Daily temperature checks for staff
✓ Reduction of staff movement outside hotel
✓ Assistance to call hotline supplied by the Portuguese health care in case of symptoms
✓ Digital check-ins are available in pre-arrival. Upon arrival just a quick confirmation of your documents is necessary.
✓ Designated room for the eventual need of isolation area, equipped with individual protection equipment.
